How Connect Staff Works

Connect Staff provides real-time guest and staff communication. A request can be created by a guest or a staff member which will alert an appropriate staff member. This staff member addresses the request and marks the request as complete when they are finished.

The staff member is able to communicate their estimated time for completion, the need for additional resources or to simply ask a question or to provide an update.

Requests are fully tracked to provide detailed analytics and a comprehensive audit trail to include:

  • Who made the request
  • When the request was created
  • When it was assigned, edited and completed
  • Any communication or changes and updates to the request
  • Reception alerts housekeeping when a guest checks out.
  • Housekeeping alerts maintenance of any issues with the room.
  • Reception alerts maintenance if a guest reports an issue.
