- Using your Samsung OEM Remote
- Power on your Samsung TV
- Select: Mute > 1 > 1 >9
- Select: Power Source
- Change the Power Source to the HDMI port number to which the Apple TV is connected. (E.g. “HDMI 3”)
- Restart your Samsung TV
- Disable HDMI-CEC
- Select Settings
- Select All Settings
- Select Connection
- Select External Device Manager
- Select Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC)
- Press the selection button to disable the feature
- Using the Monscierge Hospitality Remote
- Select the Power button to power everything down
- Wait 1 minute
- Again, select the power button to power everything on
Results should show the Monscierge Apple TV launched and fully loaded. At this point, you or the guest are encouraged to use only the Monscierge remote.
Roku Based
Settings > System > Power & Energy > Power On Behaviour and select "Last Used Input"
OR
Settings > System > Power
Select Power on (it's usually set to Home Screen by default).
Press the right arrow on your remote and choose the specific HDMI port that the Apple TV is connected to (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2) this will set it as the default.
